Raised on a family farm in the Loess Hills region of western Iowa, I developed a deep appreciation of nature and wild places early in a life filled with many years of hiking, camping, hunting and fishing. Additional travel throughout the Midwest and Western U.S gave me a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of ecosystems and their wild inhabitants.

As a nature photographer, I feel compelled to give back to the wild communities where I capture my images.

To support those wild ecosystems and habitats I will donate 20% of the proceeds of all image sales to related conservation organizations who share my committment to preserving our wild splendor.
